PassOn is a peer-to-peer gear relay service operated from Canggu, Bali, Indonesia. PassOn connects digital nomads who want to sell or swap gear (surfboards, scooters, electronics, cameras, and other items) with buyers in Bali.
PassOn acts as a relay intermediary only. We help price your gear, relay your listing to a vetted buyer network, and connect interested parties. We do not own, sell, take custody of, or process payment for any items.
By using PassOn (getpasson.app) — including the pricing tool, listing service, or buyer network — you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
You must be at least 18 years old to use PassOn. By using the service, you confirm you meet this requirement.
As a Seller, you agree to: - List only items you own and have the legal right to sell - Provide accurate descriptions, photos, and pricing - Hold valid documentation for motorbikes (STNK + BPKB) where applicable - Respond to relay inquiries within a reasonable time - Show up to confirmed COD meetups at public locations - Not list stolen, counterfeit, or illegal items
As a Buyer, you agree to: - Inspect items thoroughly before paying - Show up to confirmed COD meetups - Not harass or spam sellers or PassOn - Pay the agreed price without last-minute lowballing after meetup
PassOn charges sellers a relay fee on a successful deal only: - Fixed-price relay: Rp 75,000 per successful deal (first 5 deals free) - Flash Auction relay: Rp 100,000 if the item sells - Swap: free during Phase 1 - Buyers always pay nothing to PassOn - No deal = no fee
The relay fee may be paid via Wise (to our Indonesian bank account), QRIS, cash, or other methods we make available. PassOn does not process the payment for the item itself — that is settled directly between buyer and seller.
The following are strictly prohibited: - Stolen goods - Counterfeit or replica items - Weapons or illegal items - Motorbikes without proper documentation (STNK/BPKB) - Animals or living creatures - Drugs or controlled substances
All item payments are made directly between buyer and seller. PassOn does not hold, escrow, or process payment for items.
PassOn is a relay intermediary. We are not a party to transactions between buyers and sellers.
PassOn is not liable for: - The quality, safety, condition, or legality of any listed item - Disputes between buyers and sellers - Loss, damage, or theft of items before, during, or after meetups - Any failure of a buyer or seller to complete a deal - Actions or omissions of any user
You use PassOn at your own risk. By using PassOn, you agree to indemnify and hold PassOn (and its operator) harmless from any claims arising from your use of the service.
PassOn reserves the right to refuse service or permanently ban users who: - Ghost confirmed meetups repeatedly - List fraudulent or misrepresented items - Avoid paying the agreed relay fee after a successful deal - Engage in abusive behavior toward users or PassOn - Violate any of these Terms
"Gear Passport" is an optional feature where you can share the country your gear is coming from, adding provenance to your listing. Providing this information is voluntary and is displayed to our buyer network as part of the listing.
All PassOn branding, logos, and content are the property of PassOn. Users may not reproduce or use PassOn branding without written permission.
User-submitted content (photos, descriptions) remains yours. By submitting it, you grant PassOn a non-exclusive license to display it for the purpose of relaying your listing.
Your use of PassOn is also governed by our Privacy Policy, available at getpasson.app/privacy-policy.
PassOn may modify these Terms at any time. We will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Any disputes shall be resolved under Indonesian jurisdiction.
